LUFFY's ARTCANVAS 1/8 -20th Anniversary- — the second release in the ARTCANVAS series, which transforms Eiichiro Oda's original One Piece color artwork into wearable canvases on a LUFFY's figure body. By Bandai Spirits, sold exclusively through the Tamashii Web Shop in Japan.
This release takes the color illustration Oda drew for the 20th anniversary of One Piece's serialization in 2017, redesigned to fit the LUFFY's silhouette and applied through hydro-dip transfer printing — covering every surface from the front of the body down to the soles of the feet. As a special touch, skilled craftsmen hand-position the transfer so that Luffy himself appears somewhere on the front of the body. Because the transfer is applied by hand, no two pieces share the same pattern — every figure is one of a kind.
Standing at approximately 215mm (8.5in), the body is scaled to 1/8 of Luffy's 172cm height — a larger canvas than ever before.
⚠️ RANDOM ELEMENT: The transfer position varies from piece to piece. Luffy's figure will appear somewhere on the front of the body, but its exact position — and the pattern placement on all other surfaces — is random and cannot be selected.
