MEGA Expansion Pack "30th CELEBRATION" — the 30th anniversary set for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, as a shrink-wrapped, unopened booster box of the Japanese edition.
This is not an ordinary set. Every card in every pack is holo — six holo cards per pack, with no filler. The lineup introduces FUR (Futuristic Rare), an all-new rarity designed by graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN, debuting on Mew ex and Mewtwo ex. Each pack also guarantees one Pikachu card, drawn from a series illustrated by 30 different artists. Rounding out the set are special cards recreating the artwork of vintage Pokémon cards, and basic Energy cards in a YOSHIROTTEN-designed treatment.
In Japan this box was distributed through lottery sale only — demand far exceeded supply.
