Next Friday (7/24): Ultraman Turns 60 with a New Ichiban Kuji
RELEASE CALENDAR — WEEK OF JULY 21

Ultraman is turning 60, and this kuji leans all the way into it — a brand-new sub-brand called "Kuusou Nostalgio" reimagines the series finale as a full diorama, built from concept art drawn specifically for this release by Shinji Nishikawa. Original Ultraman suit actor Toshio Furuya contributed to the project, and Tsuburaya Productions' own sculpting team supervised the details.

A Prize — Ultraman, Kuusou Nostalgio (~21cm)

The first release from the new "Kuusou Nostalgio" line, built around a concept visual Nishikawa drew specifically to capture the mood of Ultraman's series finale. The diorama folds in the Science Patrol base, the Jet Beetle, and the Beta Capsule — worth turning all the way around to catch everything.

B Prize — Zetton, Kuusou Nostalgio (~23cm)

Same line, built around Zetton this time — same finale-inspired concept art, same level of detail from Tsuburaya's sculpting team. The diorama includes the Zetton aliens, their ship, and clear-part flame effects that catch the light convincingly from any angle.

C Prize — Donburi Bowl (~15cm)

A ceramic bowl wrapped in scenes of Ultraman's battles against various kaiju, with the 60th anniversary logo worked into the inside base. As with any ceramic piece, expect some natural variation between individual bowls.

D Prize — Tote Bag (~37cm)

A genuinely large tote that folds down into an inner pocket shaped like the Beta Capsule.

E Prize — "Hero Zukan" Ultra Hero Magnets Vol.1 (6 designs, random, ~5cm)

Magnet-mountable mini figures spanning Ultra Heroes from different eras of the franchise. Blind pull, so no choosing your favorite.

F Prize — Poster Collection (10 designs, choosable, B3)

Large-format B3 posters, including Nishikawa's own concept visual for this kuji alongside artwork from several other designers.

G Prize — Acrylic Stands (20 designs, random, ~8cm)

Stands built around the silhouette art and title card from Ultraman's opening sequence — the backing is semi-transparent, so backlighting brings out the shadow art. With 20 designs in the pool, most people end up collecting several through repeat pulls.

Last One Prize — Zetton (Climax Ver.), Kuusou Nostalgio (~23cm)

The climax version of Zetton from the same line, recreating the Science Patrol's last stand against Zetton in full diorama form. This one goes to whoever draws the final ticket in the box.
